What this site is

This is the website of Royal Chimney Sweep & Duct Cleaning NJ, a chimney sweeping and duct cleaning business working across 19 towns in North and Central New Jersey. Using it means accepting the terms below.

The advice on this site is general

Every article, service page and answer here describes how this kind of work usually goes. None of it is an assessment of your chimney, because nobody has looked at your chimney. If something on this site contradicts what a qualified person tells you after inspecting your property, go with the person who saw it.

Where a national standard is referred to — NFPA 211 inspection levels, for example — it is referred to as published. Standards are revised; this site is not revised the same day they are.

If you think something is unsafe, stop using it

Smoke pushing back into a room, a sharp smell from an unlit fireplace, a roaring sound from the chimney, or debris landing in the firebox during a fire all mean stop and call somebody. Do not use this website as a reason to keep burning.

Estimates and quotes

Sending the form on this site is a request for an estimate. It is not a booking, it does not create a contract, and it does not hold a slot. A quotation is given after the work has been looked at, and it is the quotation that forms the agreement — not anything on this website.

No prices are published here. Any figure you see attributed to this business on another site did not come from this one.

Photographs

Photographs of completed work on this site are of this business's own jobs. Some images are generated illustrations of situations the business has not photographed, and those are listed for replacement as real photography becomes available. Reviewer profile photographs are displayed from Google's servers and belong to the reviewers.

Links out

This site links to the company's Google Business Profile. What appears there is controlled by Google and by the people who write reviews, not by this website.

Availability

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but it is published as it is. Service areas, hours and the services offered can change, and the Google listing is the more current source if the two ever disagree.
